Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) invites applications from eligible candidates for a contractual Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under a CSIR-funded project.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess one of the following degrees with a minimum of 55% marks: BS-4 years, B.Pharm, MBBS, B.V.Sc, Integrated BS-MS, M.Sc, B.E, or B.Tech. Additionally, candidates must have a valid qualification in the NET or GATE test.
  • Desirable Experience: While not mandatory, preference may be given to candidates with experience in microbiological techniques, cell culture, virus propagation, and molecular diagnostics.
  • Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 28 years as of the date specified in the project norms. Age relaxation of up to 5 years is applicable for women, SC/ST/OBC, and physically handicapped candidates.

  • Selection Process: The selection will be based on a walk-in written test followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates. The written exam will be of one-hour duration.
