Educational Qualification & Eligibility
- Mandatory Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (B.L.) or an equivalent qualification from any recognized University.
- Experience: Must have been enrolled in the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu or in the Bar Council of any other State in India. Must possess an active Advocate or Pleader license and must have practiced as an Advocate or Pleader for not less than three years on the date of this notification.
- Age Limit (as on 01-07-2025): Candidates must have attained the age of 26 years and should not have attained the age of 36 years.
- Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and other categories as per Government of Tamil Nadu rules. A relaxation of up to 10 years is provided for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

- One-Time Registration (OTR): ₹ 150/- (Applicable for all candidates).
- Examination Fee: ₹ 100/-. This fee is exempted for SC, SC(A), ST, PwBD, and Destitute Widow candidates.

- Selection Process: The selection will be based on the following stages:
- Preliminary Examination: Objective Type (Qualifying in nature).
- Main Written Examination: Descriptive Type.
- Oral Test (Interview): Final stage for selection.
