Eligibility Criteria

  • Residency: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent from recognized Boards/Councils with at least 50% marks in aggregate (excluding extra/optional/fourth subject). SC/ST/ST(H) candidates get a 5% relaxation.
  • Age Limit: Must be between 18 and 34 years as on 1st July 2025. SC/ST/ST(H) candidates get a 2-year relaxation.
  • Reservation: Seats reserved for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PWD as per government norms.

Application Fee

Candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 600/- via Internet Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/Wallet.

Online Counselling Process

Qualified candidates must participate in online counselling to select their preferred Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs). Seat allotment is based on PET merit and preferences. After counselling, candidates must report to their allotted institute for document verification and admission, likely in October 2025. Required documents include:
