The Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam has released the official notification for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Examination 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Class: Students studying in Class VIII.
School: Only students from Government and Provincialised schools under the Department of School Education, Assam, are eligible for the scholarship. Students from private schools, JNVs, and KVs can appear but won’t be selected for the scholarship.
Income: Parents’ income should not exceed ₹3.5 lakhs per annum.

Scholarship Details

Qualified students will receive a scholarship of ₹12,000/- per year for Classes IX, X, XI, and XII.
