ESIC Recruitment 2025 – 243 Faculty – Assistant Professor Posts
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released a notification through the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the recruitment of 243 Assistant Professor posts in ESIC PGIMSRs and ESIC Medical Colleges on a direct recruitment basis.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply offline by submitting their applications by 22nd September 2025 for candidates from Northeast States.

Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years (relaxable by 5 years for ESIC regular medical officers and Govt. servants as per Central Govt. rules).
- Educational Qualification:
- For Medical Candidates: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject and at least 3 years teaching experience as Senior Resident, Tutor, Demonstrator, Registrar, Assistant Professor, or Lecturer in a recognized institution.
- For Dentistry: Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) or equivalent and at least 3 years teaching experience in a recognized institution.
- For Non-Medical Candidates: Master’s degree and Doctorate degree in subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, or Biochemistry, as per National Medical Commission regulations, with at least 3 years teaching experience in a recognized institution.
Application Fee
Rs 500/- (via Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque in favor of ‘ESI Fund Account No. 2’, payable at Faridabad). Exempted for Female, SC, ST, PwBD, ESIC permanent/regular employees, and Ex-Servicemen. Contractual or ad-hoc ESIC employees must pay the fee.
