The Tamil Nadu Medical Services Recruitment Board (TN MRB) has invited online applications for the recruitment of 41 Field Assistant posts in the Public Health Subordinate Service.

Essential Qualifications & Salary
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed the Plus-two (HSC/PUC) Examination and possess a one-year Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (CMLT) from an institution recognized by the Director of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu.
- Desirable Qualification: SSLC/HSC with Tamil or a Second Class Language Test in Tamil. Candidates who studied in the Tamil medium (PSTM) will receive preferential treatment.
- Physical Fitness: Must have a good physique, good vision, and the capacity to do outdoor work.
- Salary: Selected candidates will be paid in the Pay Matrix Level-5 scale of ₹ 18,200 – 67,100 per month, along with other allowances as per Tamil Nadu Government rules.

- Minimum Age: 18 years (should have completed).
- Maximum Age:
- For SC, SC(A), ST, MBC&DNC, BC, BC(M) categories: No upper age limit (should not have completed 60 years).
- For "Others" (OC) category: 32 years.
- For Differently Abled Persons: 42 years.
- For Ex-Servicemen: 48 years.
- Application Fee:
- SC / SCA / ST / DAP (Differently Abled) / DW (Destitute Widow): ₹ 300.
- All Other Candidates: ₹ 600.
Selection Process
There will be no interview for this post. Selection is strictly merit-based on the following academic marks:

Note: If marks are not awarded for the CMLT course, selection will be based only on SSLC and HSC/PUC marks.
